I deduce it's because the original fans of the SMT franchise are ass blasted at the new (and larger) fan base rising due to the persona series which is clearly better. They just like acting all the games before persona were the best and make fun of purse owner fans. Being butthurt is a truly a terrifying ordeal.

I've played p3, P4, the spinoffs and remakes, Catherine, digital devil saga one and two,nocturne, smt 5, and both devil survivor. Out of those I can honestly say the original P3 and Devil Survivor Record Breaker were the most fun. Atlus is so fucking good.
