Gearbox just does things whether they're good or not and don't bother to rework anything proper once it's in. They did a bunch of that shit in borderlands 2, just put out subpar content and release shit that made characters useless and from the looks of things it looks like this one is going in the same direction.
Kinda sucks though, every now and again they'll have an idea I'm into (like a character design or a quest,etc) but then jam it up with their bad sense of humor and just make things unredeemable. Maybe they should have kept the "we're all le crazy badasses, we did it space reddit!" shit on borderlands because everyone who plays that is probably already invested enough to ignore the really bad examples.
Adding that shit on the new game just shows their hand at writing and scares people into thinking that they just can't stop writing 13 year old tier fan fiction no matter the game.

Despite being nothing like Overwatch except that they're both first person and have characters with unique powers, the gameplay is nothing alike, with Battleborn much more like a MOBA. Still, everyone compared it to Overwatch, and that was it's downfall because it wasn't Overwatch at all.

I liked the art design, it was strange in that Gearbox way, something you'd expect from the developers of Borderlands.
It was actually quite fun with interesting characters.
There was a great deal of too much on the screen at the same time though, the game should come with an epilepsy warning.
I still maintain they should have just made a game in the Borderlands IP and it would have had greater success.
