Controls were fine.
Imprisoned was shit and the game held your hand through everything. Fi absolutely ruined it. The world and dungeons were all pretty fun, except for maybe the Volcano. I had trouble with the controls because I'm a spastic, but that doesn't mean they're bad.
Any boss that requires to you shake up your tactics and actually use your wide range of abilities is a pass.

This bossfight is just layers upon layers of amazing.
This guy has like 5 different phases and 3 different forms, the whole fight goes for an hour, it's fucking insane, just when you think it's all over, he comes back for another round, and another and yet another with each new phase getting more and more insane until it's reached Super Tengan Toppa Gurren Laggan levels of balls to the wall crazy.
This shit gets your blood pumping, it's exhilarating, it's electrifying its... perfect.
And with a game with a god tier OST, it has the best song.
Probably one of the best final boss themes I've had the pleasure of listening to.

Oh wow, so good, I had to use the same attack from my level 80 starter like 11 times.
At one point, this baldy brought many players to tears of frustration. He even decided to come back many years later with more power and new tricks. He still isn't totally dead after killing him the second time.

That's how health is counted in the NMH games right? I never even noticed that shit up until this fight, I think. So every boss has a reliable number of hits they take until they go down? What if you hit them with attacks that do different damage values, like a charge attack or a grab? Do those have a set number of hits then? I always wondered that shit.
Regardless, that fight was fucking based and had badass music. I wish he was less exploitable with the dark step though.

The final fight with Vergil is pretty much the best finale ever not only because it's a fantasic boss but also because the story built up to it wonderfully.

I literally just tanked through the last third of her healthbar, chugging estus.
I guess it's pretty neat fight, but far from being difficult, since that far in the game you have a shit ton of estus and high upgrades.
The bosses in DaS III were a disappointment, even when comparing to DaS II.
And most of bosses from first DaS are stuck in my head.

I guess technically rolling is the best defensive strategy at all times but having a shield still lets you block when convenient.
And the straight sword is the optimal combination of reach, speed and damage for pretty much the entire game's PvE content.
If the bosses in DaS3 were bad even compared to DaS2's base content then you really only have yourself to blame.
