For England, Alec.

Time to go, Dr. Doak.
Everything is luck James.
FOR ENGLAND JAMES
Why was the remake so shit.
I still have fun playing the 64 version but the remake is shit.
Why people still says that this game aged like milk?
I can play it without problems
>>343137935
It's an entirely different game. More of a reboot than a remake.
>>343139537
Which remake are we talking about here
>>343139665
There's more than one?
all I know about is the 2010 game titled "Goldeneye 007". It's marketed as a remake but it's not the same game as the N64 one at all. it's only the same in story and setting. it's a reboot.
>>343140195
Well there was the OTHER Goldeneye game..............
Then the one on the wii with daniel craig.
>>343139665
>>343140195
There's the original GoldenEye, there's the 2010 "remake" with Daniel Craig, there's a remastered version of the 2010 one for Xbox (360?) and there seems to be a "GoldenEye Rogue Agent" which I never heard about.

golden eye 2 was a weird game that had you play the bad guy, kill or don't kill james bondhe dies anyway in the first seconds of the game, then you run around dual welding weapons and using your golden eye powers to beat dr. no's army.

It's legit -> http://goldeneye.wikia.com/wiki/GoldenEye:_Rogue_Agent
>>343140926
I played this on the Gamecude and DS, The story was shit, but the gameplay was pretty good if dual welding double barrel shotguns and P90s is your sort of thing.

big mouf :0
>Pierce Brosnan will never voice act in a game again
He did the best pain sounds...
>>343140753
Me and my friend used to death match each other all the time in that game. All we did was grab the rail guns that shoot through walls. Those + the see through wall power were OP.
Nightfire was better
half of everything is luck
>>343141648
My favorite non-movie adaptation of 007, so many weapons, gadgets, and ways to play the game.
>>343141648
everything or nothing
>>343136843
God dammit, all I can ever see when I look at this is longmouth bond now.
Favorite levels?
1st 3 were always a fav and I used to replay frigate alot.
>>343146376
I liked train because I could pick up the RCP and shred everything.
>>343146376
I played Silo, Frigate, and Train a lot.
And I liked to fuck around in the tank in Streets. Or sometimes I would throw on the Gameshark, detonate the Plastique in Silo, and run around the level like a fiery tornado.
>>343146376
the levels with the tank.
running over people in a tank hasn't been as satisfying since then
>>343137180
My favorite part.
Also, how does golden eye have better mission objectives and pacing than modern games?
>>343146690
>>343146780
>play Train with Enemy Rockets mode on
There is no more difficult challenge in the entire history of FPS games.
>>343136843
Has the game actually aged badly or is this just a meme? I haven't played it but it seems like most of the issues people have with it like the frame rate and controls could be fixed and upgraded in an HD port.
>>343146376
I played Train a lot, trying to get past the door with Xenia and Trevelyan before it closes
I have a confession, Goldeneye was my first vidya fap.
On one of the levels with Natalya I think the 2nd bunker one where you in a cell with her if you constantly ran into her should make a groaning noise and sort of bob her body up and down that combined with a rumble pack and it resting in my lap it was all i needed to fap.
>>343137935
It seemed to have very little to do with the n64 game or the movie.
>>343146376
Archives and Bunker 1
>they never remade the single player in goldeneye: source
i really want to replay, but I cant fps without a mouse anymore and im worried the grafix will give me hiv
Rogue Agent's neat. Not GoldenEye but hey.
Some of the multiplats and a couple of the PS1/2 games could be fun.
TWINE was surprisingly good in MP.
But by far the original was one of the definitive FPS of the world today. It did so much shit right it's not even logical. It was hardly perfect but god damn if it wasn't a fucking blast to play.
>>343147084
Most objectives in games are just things you have to do anyway to complete the level. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark have you going out of your way to do spy shit.
>>343146376
There isn't much to Cradle, but the bgm is god tier, so I played it often. It's even my ringtone.
>>343147669
Controls are a bit fucky without the dual sticks, but I dont think it's that bad.
I am nostalgic as fuck about Goldeneye though, me and my dad played a shit ton before he lost some fingers.
