Unrelated, but I like the inclusions of Shotguns now, but I was never very good at the Bullet customization system. Thinking of giving it a whirl. The old meta was just to connect as many bullets as possible in a single shot so you can instantly expend all of your Oracle Points and get damage out faster, only other important thing was the exact pattern of the bullets to ensure maximum efficiency in terms of what Aragami parts were struck per shot.

Scythe can do a lot of damage, but consumes tons of Stamina to use, and requires careful management of distance from the target, since the blade itself is where all of the damage is concentrated. To complete its most damaging combo, it requires good timing as well, or for the Aragami to be stunned/knocked down/otherwise occupied to fully complete without missing.
Standard combo attacks on it are alright, if a bit imprecise, since you basically wield it in mobius patterns.

Yes, and you need to do all of the major story missions with the AI, anyway. That's just forced. On the bright side, God Eater has some of the most competent friendly AI I've ever seen in a game. At least, that was my experience in the original PSP version. They've actually expanded the Comrade system depth extensively in this version of the game, so I'm pretty impressed.
I enjoyed GEB and GE2 but don'the have a PS4 so I'Lloyd have to wait for it on Steam. Hopefully there will be undub.

and spears are really cool. Square is just swinging it around while Triangle is for thrusts. You can do a backflip amd either another three strikes in the air or a downward slanted thrust attack. Oh and a charge attack with Square that kind of propels you forward, the pointy bit changes and you can keep it like that for the remainder of the combo, provided you don't throw yourself too far, the charge might make you miss your mark.
