Nickelodeon tried SO hard to make Tak a thing. It reeked of pathetic desperation and trying to capitalize on the Rachet/Jak popularity at the time.
As a kid I could always tell which cartoons were going to bomb and which were going to stick around. I knew shit like Butt Ugly Martians, Yakity Yak and Mucha Lucha would fail quickly but Tak brought it to a whole new level. Like they tried to launch an entire franchise out of absolutely nothing and they never earned it.

Atleast I think it's unfinished, because it just ends so abruptly. Everyone that wasn't the antagonist or Tak and Lok barely had screen time.
I'm also curious if the weapon upgrades even mattered. You don't do any damage at all if you hit anywhere besides the weak points, and everything dies as soon as you knock of all the weakpoints which only take one hit.

The thing they messed up was that the games all came out fucking years before the show itself, so the show just sort of appeared without any sort of advertisement, as if they expected little kids to remember games that came out in like 2004. The games themselves aren't really well-known, which is a shame. All three are perfectly good, maybe with some wonky collision detection, but they all look nice and have great atmosphere.
