They cost more money than they need to. Each console is a several hundred dollar entry fee to play games. That entry fee is not needed and would be better spent on the games directly.
To play all the games this generation, you'd need to get all the consoles, which are at least 299 each.

Unpopular opinion: I had more fun with weapon arts in DS3 than I did with trick weapons in bloodborne. All it did for me was allow me to switch between a fast hitting low dmg sword or a high dmg slow hitting hammer (Mainly used kirkhammer) I never really used the trick parts in cool ways but maybe that's just my fault

Counters are risky and bosses are much more aggro than in any Souls game. I think it's well balanced still and force you to be more offense unlike other Souls games.
