Why is GTAV the top seller?
Game is pretty old now and only has a 40% discount.

It is a good game, allso the Online community on PC is huge
It's just one of those games that almost everyone has. Sometimes it's evenfun
I don't see much of a point in putting the actual top sellers on that list. They probably put people on that list who agree to some kind of deal regarding how much payout the devs get.
Because it's fucking GTA, which has consistently been one of the best selling game franchises since sixth gen.
>>343084275
Nah, I think the way it works is that the top sellers are the games making the most money, not the ones selling the most copies.
GTA is *always* popular. It has been this way since GTA 3.
>>343084181
>huge
Even if you consider non steam buyers that's probably only another 30k max
Is fun and popular, also all these idiots wondering why GTA sells so much
Its fucking GTA, the series has been a best seller since 2001
>>343084416
That makes sense, but it still implies that only AAA developers or indies with kickstarter millions will appear on the front page.
Steam has some bullshit algorithm that prioritizes high priced games in the top sellers.
>>343084451
Still more than on all consoles combined :^)
>>343084451
That's huge by PC standards.
http://store.steampowered.com/stats
>>343084451
That's pretty damn big. anything over 10,000 is viable and alive.
>>343084586
it's 4 years old and it's still almost full price
>>343084784
>That's huge by PC standards.
Not when you consider games like League and mmo's
>>343084451
ALOT of people own it on Rockstar social club
I just wish they updated the single player with all the new cars and features.
>>343084964
it's still FIFTY THOUSAND PEOPLE
maybe key sellers or something
buying copies under one currency that has a good exchange and selling it to beaners
>>343084964
>moving the goalposts so you look less BTFO
Nice dude
>>343085496
What?
>That's huge by PC standards.
>Goalposts are pc games
>>343085601
what does that take away from? it's still FIFTY THOUSAND niggers
>>343084275
It's a "what are people actually buying" from this sale list. What's wrong with that?
>>343084089
Well it's usually in the Top 10 even when it's not on sale, so any discount makes it obviously go up.
>>343085601
I don't think you understand the phrase moving goalposts.
Haven't bought anything this sale so far, nothing seems to pop out.
What happened with those flash sales that used to happen?
>>343086075
Got rid of them when the refund system was introduced, there would be mass refunds everytime a flash happened.
>>343086075
People were too stupid to wait for flash/daily deals or the last day of the sale.
