Lots of dying to the same enemies, telling myself I just need to git gud. And losing all of these relevant skills I've built up after I've left the game for awhile.

So, as someone who's absolutely not at familiar with that genre, I would agree that -possibly- someone like me would struggle on a certain difficulty setting that'd be considered "easy" be veterans of the genre (even though I'd still try it at least on harder than normal at first and tone it down respectively cause I like a challenge, personally).
However, as the example I listed in the other thread, I started playing rts's with WarCraft 3 (in any serious manner anyway) so I started on normal with that, did hard, and eventually multiplayer. Fast forward, SC2 comes out, I start out on brutal (and tone it down to hard when needed or lose over and over), but I'm relatively okay, cause i'm familiar with that genre.

Insurgency. I haven't been able to play regularly in a few months so I've been pretty rusty but when I'm in practice I frequently carry teams to wins in 2 minutes or less. A lot of maps on Skirmish can be won in 45 seconds if you just rush and stay out of enemy LoS.
It's been hard lately especially with the rapid decline of the Insurgency player base because of all the CSGO kiddies buying during sales.

I used to think I'm pretty good at this.
I really liked the game, had lots of people to play with, friends and cousins.
I had a multitap, we often had 4-player games.
I would put my power on the lowest, theirs were average I think. It got to the point when once I jokingly said all 3 could gang up on me, and I managed to win. This repeated some other times.
Of course, nothing really impressive. There are probably crazy in-depths mechanics and strategies that I never got to know.
