I never played Goldeneye 64 when I was younger however my friends did.
Recently one of them brought their N64 round and brought Goldeneye with them. My other friend was losing his shit over how good it was, so we all played it.
I really couldn't see the appeal, could barely play it, it played like absolute shit. It's not even cause I'm a guy who cant even stand old games. I've played and loved some garbage in my childhood (looking at you, ZX Spectrum)
I can kind of understand why is was revolutionary to consoles back in the day, but we've come a lot further than that pile, we've mostly got console FPS controls perfected now. It's certainly not the "best FPS ever made", no matter how important it might be to FPS history or how much you personally like it.

The original version of Wizardry 6. Between the constant fart bleeps and bloops that are supposed to be sound effects, the absolutely hideous 16-color visuals that looked like shit even at the time, every area using the same fucking visuals, map design that was exponentially more complex, and by proxy, exponentially harder to map than previous Wizardry games, which is a shitty thing to do to a player, and gameplay that's basically a beta version for Wizardry 7 and 8, I can absolutely say that it aged like shit.
Funnily enough, the SNES port is infinitely better in every way but two: its map function makes Wizard Eye redundant for anything but boosting your mana, and its multiclassing is horrendously overpowered because it gives you full HP and MP for every single level instead of giving you a single point until you caught up with your original class.

The reason you can have steaks rare or medium rare is that all the germs and bacteria are on the outside, and frying/searing them for 1-2 minutes removes all of that.
Minced meat is different in that the bacteria is on the outside and inside because the meat is minced and rolled together, so you have to cook it all the way through so you don't get badly ill.

Rare is different from tartar. Still, you really shouldn't have a burger rare. You don't have to have it well doneeven though I like my burgers rare. Ground beef that isn't well kinda wierds me outbut you shouldn't have a rare burger. Somewhere in the middle is perfectly acceptable.
The long and short of it is those burgers are so offensive because they aren't formed properly, so the inside is probably barely warm. That's bad news bears because it's just hanging out in the 'Perfect E-Coli breeding temperature' zone before eating. The graphics are dated, but not in a charming, simplistic way like the 2d top-down predecessors. The main gameplay is your typical turnbased JRPG menu navigating. It tries to break it up with minigames along the way, but these control badly, have little to no explanation, and don't give you another chance to try again if you fail since they're often story-sensitive. You can't skip cutscenes. The game is largely regarded as the easiest installment in the series. From today's standpoint, you can safely regard 7 as the dark horse of the series. Yes, it was revolutionary at the time, but it hasn't aged well at all.
