AI War: Fleet Command - 85% off. Looks ugly as hell but is incredibly fun to play if you like strategy games. Good at LAN parties too.
HammerWatch - 75% off. Really fun and difficult dungeon crawler for up to 4 people.
Planetary Annihilation Titans - 80% off. Lots of unjustified hate for this game, but I've spent many fun hours playing it and don't even regret paying the full price.
Tales of Maj'Eyal - 75% off. An actual roguelike (not roguelite) that does away with some of the more annoying aspects of the genre (consumables that you don't know whether to save or spend, grinding, etc.).
Star Ruler 2 - 33% off. I know it's a relatively low discount but this game is totally worth it. It's in some ways similar to Stellaris, but much more emphasis on military & combat (there's still diplomacy, technology, economy, etc. but those are a means to gaining more military power). Some of the things you can do in this game are crazy. For example, you can capture planets that give free FTL travel within their system, build some thrusters on them, and then fling your entire empire across the galaxy. Definitely worth even the full price.
FORCED: Slightly Better Edition - 80% off. Awesome 4-player co-op dungeon/arena combat game with varied classes to play and skills to use.
Mark of the Ninja - 75% off. Amazing story, amazing gameplay. Can approach the challenges in many different ways. Played it through twice it was so fun and probably will do it another time soon.

Beat Hazard ($3.29/5.69) is an absolute blast. Its as Asteroids-ish game that uses mp3s from your library to make levels. Someone suggested this in a thread a few years ago and I love it so much. It never gets any love so I suggest it whenever I see a hidden gems thread. The extra DLC is well worth it and gives it way more replayability.
Mark of the Ninja ($4.24), Gunpoint (2.74) and Deadlight ($3.39) are all great little platformers. Neither is very long but both are very well executed.
Just Cause 2 ($3.99) is a super fun crazy game for cheap.
Rebel Galaxy ($10.99) Great broadsides space combat game. Pretty graphics, fun gameplay and a rockin' soundtrack.
Talos Principle is 75% off. It's by far my favourite puzzle game, and the philosophical sci-fi vibes are really cool. Check it out!

Avernum games are more traditional party based dungeon crawling. Avadon as well, though the Avadon games are a bit shorter and more straight-forward. The third and final Avadon comes out in the fall.

They all play somewhat similarly - they're all turn-based combat - with minor mechanic differences
Avernum 1-3 are a trilogy, though each game can be played on it's own really. Only the first two have been remade so far, you'll have to find somewhere else on the internet for 3. The first three are pretty dated, using the old Nethergate engine so the remakes are nice, but 3 is still enjoyable even though it's dated. Avernum 4-6 are their own trilogy taking place long, long after the first ones. These play similar to the first trilogy but use an updated Geneforge engine, so they're not as dated as the originals and less likely to ever get remade. Though it's worth noting the whole Avernum series are updated remakes of the ancient Exile games. With the Avernum games you create your entire party from scratch. Think Icewind Dale or Divinity: OS so they party interaction is done with your imagination.
With Avadon you only create your main PC and then you meet pre-made NPCs who join up with your party, more like Baldur's Gate. Avadon is it's own seperate setting and story unrelated to Avernum. It's also the most recent series so it's got far improved interface and engine.
Geneforge series is unrelated to any others. You play a Summoner and your entire part is monsters you create rather than other adventurers. It's one of the more unique cRPGs I've played, gameplay-wise. I highly recommend it, even if it takes a bit of getting-used to due to it's age.

I'd recommend playing the Geneforge games in order. Honestly can't think of a single Spiderweb game that wasn't great and I'd say skip. Nethergate is more historical than fantasy, with Romans and Celts, so it might not interest you so maybe skip that?

Costume Quest 1 and 2 are both currently on sale for CHEAP AS FUCK. The first is pretty much mandatory if you've never played it.
Puzzle Agent 1 and 2 are also on sale.
Alan Wake complete, at under $10 is a steal.
If you have a controller that can connect to your PC, and a significant other to play with, Brothers A Tale of Two Sons is one of the best local coop games to play (especially with someone who doesn't typically game).

Warframe, no it's not pay to win. It's co-op there really isn't any winning, just having fun and improving your frames. It's probably the best made f2p game ever. Looks like it could be AAA title. SOC is older, and in some folks opinion, the more atmospheric and better of the two.
COP has slightly refined and streamlined gameplay, with the opportunity for mods like Call of Chernobyl. I'd go for both, but if you must choose, pick COP imho

i played it and fuckin loved it but there's two things you should know going in:
1. the game doesn't display controls in button format, it'll have a little symbol of what it is with the color of the button next to it. For this reason I didn't fully understand the controls til like halfway thru story mode
2. for some reason the controls get fucked up on third party (not microsoft) controllers like madcatz, logitech, etc. dualshock is fine i think

I'd drop Darkest Dungeon and grab Risk of Rain, don't know about the others. Darkest Dungeon, while having a lot of interesting ideas, is grindy as hell and is basically a complicated mobile game for your computer.
