Well I thought the game had enormous potential but the execution was just way WAY too safe. It really is a shallow shooter and I don't care much for the lack of maps. And what maps are there suffer from really poor map design. I understand that maps need to have tight spaces to that certain heroes are given situations in which they excel, but the maps really do suffer for it.
I bought it.
And I don't regret it.
Played solidly after launch and have had the urge to go back everyday since. In fact I've been playing no TF2 these past few weeks.

To be completl honest, I never felt like this before because I always buy the game I know are good or will like. I listend to people twice. WIth this and with the Last of Us.
I finished the Last of Us but felt scammed because of all the praises it got.
Overwatch is even worse since there's no campaign to finish. So I tried every hero playing it again and again and after a few days, still nothing.

Character design is, every has good design, mostly good alternates and decent dialog/characterization
Most skills in the game guarantee you a kill on most enemies besides tankers.
