A game that builds up to the final confrontation like KSS did, take the game, divided it into small slices and make them bigger as you unlock them. Also more minigames, bring back samurai duel, egg catching and standoff if necessary.

MWW was neat but the final battle was about all that was memorable form it, its just padding after most of the originality was used int he previous mode and an excuse to fight Marx

Another thing is that Dark Matter can possess anyone or anything virtually undetectably, as the Ripple Star's Fairy Princess demonstrated quite well. This makes it unclear as to exactly how much control Zero/Dark Matter has over Dreamlands threats, or even its allies, causing a lot of paranoia. The very core of Kirby's character is infinite potential, and I'd like to see that philosophy come to life in an RPG in its own unique way, rather than it be "here's the Paper Mario game those guys wanted, but Kirby-flavored".
If there's ever another classic Paper Mario-esque game ever again, I'd rather it be an official PM game returning to form, or someone going out there and making an original spiritual successor.

I was missing like 10 rare stickers after beating the game. I had to do like 3-4 reruns of a few stages that I couldn't find a cube in. And I haven't found any HAL rooms. The collectibles don't have to be DIFFICULT to find though; as long as they're placed in interesting ways that makes you feel good about locating them, like "I KNEW there was something in that suspicious spot!" then it's going to feel good to collect them.
I do think the core gameplay could ramp up in difficulty a little more, though.

The climax in Robobot was good, but I felt it was weaker than Triple Deluxe. Fighting Dedede had slightly more impact than fighting Mecha Knight+ because you already fought Mecha Knight a few worlds ago. Sectonia was a better boss than Haltmann, and again, Susie earlier on was just a lite version of Haltmann. The shooter finale in Robobot was quite good, but three phases long and I spent the whole thing waiting to get back on foot for a final phase which never happened.
Robobot armor is a better game gimmick than Hypernova, but the final boss made no substantial use of it. None of the major bosses are fought in your robobot, and Halberd mode really doesn't count. Even just a second phase of Haltmann where you push his shit in with your own mech would have added a lot to the sequence. On the other hand, Hypernova does see real use in the finale of Triple Deluxe even if it's pretty much just a cinematic phase of the fight, and Kirby's stare down with Sectonia at the very end was perfect. The heart core at the end of the True Arena was good, but whenever I think about it I'm just struck with the thought that they should have put that phase in the main story and gone further for the true arena finale.
Even in Meta Knightmare, it was disappointing to see Galacta Knight at the end after they blew their load on Dark Matter right at the start of the climax of the mode. I thought Star Dream was summoning Galacta Knight to begin with, and was pleasantly surprised to see Dark Matter instead, but it was dampened by just ending on Galacta Knight anyway. They should have made Dark Matter more challenging and saved him for the end. Galacta Knight has gotten tons of play at this point.

Having robots instead of Hypernova objectively makes the main gimmick of the game more engaging. Other than that, of course the gameplay's going to be about on par.
As for why people like Kirby games in general, they're just chill to play, but there are plenty of abilities and they all have more diverse movesets than most people would expect for a game that presents itself like Kirby does. It's fun to find a favorite moveset and blow through the game with it, or constantly switch up your arsenal for variety/puzzle solving purposes. The games have consistently good music and atmosphere, and recent games have even been kicking it up a notch in the plot department. You can play the games casually or push yourself for 100%, in which case the amount of skill required from the player ramps up considerably, especially with the True Arena.
There's really no point in explaining any of this since I can't change how you feel about the games, but I figured I'd share a little about what I think gives Kirby games a really effective mass appeal.

I feel the guard and dodges aren't nearly as useful as you make them out to be, most bosses will chip away at your health if you keep guarding, and the dodges are painfully slow and leave you vulnerable for a long time, so dodging usually requires some timing and isn't a free get out of jail card.
Not to mention a lot of the focus of True Arena is a speed clear and endurance so sitting guarding and taking chip damage doesn't help any of that

I wouldn't say it's bad, but Dream Land 3 is pretty shit due to coming out after Super Star. Gameplay wise, it's a huge step down from Super Star. Single attack abilities, a lot less variety, and no ability descriptions. I get that the animal pals mix things up, but you still only have one attack available at a time and no guard, making the biggest challenge during a fight deciding whether to attack or not to attack. Getting the collectable for each stage is tedious and annoying due to some bullshit levels, like the minigames you only have one shot at. This is all just my opinion though, I know some people really like it. The presentation (art and music) is all very charming and cute, which is a huge plus, not to mention the improved multiplayer.

Yes, that too. I would not say "attacked" however, more like he imposed himself on Dream Land and caused some trouble. Not saying they're innocent, and they are clearly destructive, but they didn't have such bad spirits, just dark ones. They must be the kind of lonely people who don't know how to ask for help, so they push and shove to try to be loved because it's all they know, I have a soft spot for those kinds of characters. They deserved a chance to reform more than Fagolor anyway, but maybe it's for the best from a story perspective or artistic viewpoint that they didn't get to.

Well most of the time its during phase changes which is identical to TD and a better alternative than just going invincible like in RtDL. Not being able to melt through everything all the time isn't so bad, specially when the boss is still there taking damage as opposed to in the background like a certain frog

I found the healing to be more unforgiving. At least in TD you could save those tomatoes for use whenever you needed. The carried cherries makes it tougher on me to keep my health in good shape for the bosses I have more trouble on. And any boss fight where you clear with no damage is essentially a wasted cherry.

The final boss is pretty unrelenting, its a long battle with no breaks that had Galacta Knight right before it, plus you can't just cheese the Star Dream fight with stone and will take some hits somewhere, if you're lucky enough to make it to the core you're probably already really low on health. There's also the fact that health is distributed differently this time and you can't just save up on health, you also don't even get a Maxim Tomato, just a measly pep brew

When you streetpass someone who has Robobot, Bandana Dee will give you a sticker the next time you see him in a level. If you have 100% sticker completion, it has a chance of being rare.
First, streetpass someone with Robobot. Then go into Area 2-1 and immediately quit out of the level, which will save Kirby's starting position as Area 2. Then from the Area 2 map go left-left to Clanky Woods, start the level, and say hi to Bandana Dee. If he throws you a blue sticker, quit the game from the Home menu and try again (this is the reason we set up Kirby's starting position as Area 2 - it's faster to get to Clanky from there if you reset). If he throws you a gold sticker, collect it and beat Clanky (Cutter is fastest if you know how to use it). Congrats, you have a duplicate rare sticker
I was using two 3DS systems with one game card, so when I began I had two new dupes every 8 hours. Keep in mind that if you're aiming for one particular dupe it could take you 1200 fucking resets like it took me.

The length.
It is short enough to beat in a 2 hour sitting, with maybe an extra half an hour needed for 100%'ing the game.
Outside of the length, the mixing system is really, really underdeveloped.
Past that though, it's a pretty solid game. It just needed a more fleshed out mixing system, and probably 3-4x the levels.
