I'm trying to learn new characters recently, some have worked out well but others just aren't. I can't see any fun in playing Mercy. It just feels like all I do is stand there and watch everyone else play while I babysit them with my little healing gun. You could probably say something similar about Reinhardt and his shield but at least when you aren't using that you have other options like charing a motherfucker. All Mercy has is a peashooter and a crappy mobility ability.

Theres a few schools of femdom watchers. There's those who like to see women take the reins and get aggressive for sex. Or just strong women in general. Roadhog player here and that's not possible unless your Roadhog had a brainfart and never fired his weapon during the hook.
Here's a breakdown. When the hook is fired it's an instant connection. Then there's a 1 second animation of the hook reaching out and pulling back. During that 1 second a player can move behind a wall and it won't matter. You'll get pulled through. The hooked player is dropped off in front of where the player was standing when he fired the hook. There's a half second stun after the hook animation finishes. If the Roadhog presses the left mouse button at any point during the hook animation it will automatically fire when the animation is finished and while the player is still stunned. In summery you can't evade the first shoot after you're hooked unless either the Roadhog missed(forgot where you would land when you were initially hooked) or he never pressed the fire button during the 1.5 second window. So 1 shot is guaranteed and more than enough to kill a Mercy.

Thanks for posting, I didn't know this. I just assumed I would fire normally during a hook and never tried firing at them early. Hopefully I get some more kills now.
