World.
World's secrets are fucking awesome. Playing through that game and finishing it all feels fucking awesome.

64 controls great to this day and feels good to move around in but ultimately isn't as satisfying. Fucking yoshi just stands there and sparkles your ass.

The only thing that was revolutionary about Mario 64 was that it introduced 3d platforming to most of us and started a lot of the genre's tropes and cliches. It was average at best.
