Not all scrolling stages are bad, but Mushroomy Kingdom is such a boring one, it's just a mostly-flat area that is a literal rip from the game. One of the most boring designs and the old Mushroom Kingdom stages had to die for it.

I don't like how overpriced they are. Mario Maker is the worst because you're not even guaranteed to play on the layout you want.
Too many of modern Smash's stages have gimmicks that take away from the game too much or are just lazy stages literally ripped from the original game with no changes.

I want to like Stadium 2 but I can't stand those gimmicks with the icy floor, air, and the conveyor belts bullshit.
Come to think of it Hackurai always ruins good stages with some bullshit, whether it be a gimmick, a stage hazard, or some other unnecessary shit. Just look at Gamer and Wily's Castle.
