I disagree. I find it mechanically braindead and the sheer lack of mechanical complexity or incentive to play gracefully (or ability) to shred what little novelty it had right after it first appeared in fucking Arkham Asylum and the first Assassin's Creed.
DmC gets a lot of shit, and there's some talk that Capcom personally guided their hand, but at least that game I found fun to play.
Enslaved bored me halfway through and the fucking Piggy DLC they include in the PC package had more mechanical variety with the 4 gizmos.
This game is criminally bad. I tried it for like 8 minutes and felt disgusted. Never touched it again.

Probably the one that people think is the worst.
I actually really enjoyed it. The storm of negative reviews came when the devs said they were going to stop working on it before they had finished all of the promised features. They later backtracked and began issuing more updates, but the damage was done.
That's why you can't always trust Steam user reviews. You can't expect everyone to go back and change their review when a developer manages to fix something.

I really enjoyed this game. I originally pirated it because $60 for a 2 hour game is ridiculous. I later bought some pack that happened to include it, so it's on my Steam account now.
I actually streamed it for /v/ several years ago. It made for really great streaming material, with all the funny glitches and terrible dialogue. The core game mechanics like the shooting and hit detection were not at all broken like all of the major publications claimed, but that may be because it was patched.

I bought when it was $2 on a sale, when I was drunk and somewhat in the mood for some lewd, it was a flash sale in the middle of the night.
I mean I've only read a few VN's so I was expecting some choices and branching storylines and about 10+ hours of reading, and some tits and pussies censored with mosaic and bad sound efffect H-scenes, with mosaic to cover up lazily drawn dicks too.
What I got was a 2 hour long story (so just long enough to not be able to get a refund), no nudity (despite the nudity tag on steam being there), no H-scenes, one single choice with essentially no difference, and a sudden ending that just cuts off like it was never completed.
I also got embarrassment that I couldn't remove it from my library entirely so there was no way to hide it from my friends other than to make my profile private.
I eventually went back and loaded it up and just let it run while I was doing other stuff to get the cards, because the cards sold for enough to make back the $2 I spent on it, especially because I got a foil card. So I guess I profited, but still.. what a shit VN, never buying VN's on steam again.
At least now I hid it from my library.
