Ya his ult is to strong. As someone who mains him, i think he should probably be re balanced. Him and Mercy are pretty much in the same boat, both of their ults need decent nerf's and have that power re-directed to their kits. Even in competitive these two have turned into cancer especially reaper. People just tech reaper for ult, they don't even use him to flank, or play him as a risky back line killer. He's a run,gun, and fun high risk/reward hero, not a camp and wait for ult hero.

I've recently started using Mcree.
He's actually extremely fun if you can land those head shots.
Fan is absolute garbage most of the time, very good at killing very low healthy enemies tho.
He excels at mid range, but getting in close to use your flash is always a gamble since if there is more than 1 player you're probably fucked.

It has some downsides I'll agree, but here's my opinions on it from someone who plays Mercy in a pharmercy combo. You don't always have to save your ult up waiting for a big team kill, even my pocket acknowledged that he finds himself holding on to his ult too much and should use it more often when you need to quickly wipe out 2 maybe 3 people, such as tanks. Another thing I see a lot of pharah's do is they ult in the most predictable circumstances, if you ult in front of the enemy team guess what, you're gonna get shit on. Her ult is strong as a flank/surprise ult, unless you have a Mercy with you or you think you can burn people fast enough you shouldn't try to ult when their attention is on you. It's a very powerful ult, if you catch a team off guard you can wipe most of them before they can react, even with her audible cue. The only thing I would agree needs changing is make it to where she can cancel, other then that it's a powerful flank ability and ability to take down a small number of people quickly.

I really do wish they'd nerf something about ultimates as a whole. Either the charge rate, make you lose all charge on death, fucking -something-, because I feel the game is a little TOO reliant on ultimates, and "Press button to instantly kill things" is a pretty lame "mechanic" overall.

The best range to ult from I find is around the short end of mid range, you don't want to be too far away as the spread is too big, at the same time you don't want to be too close to be an easy target, ulting from above usually gives you the surprise factor, but ulting on the ground works two if enemies are approaching you, say like capping last point on anubis, ulting as they come out of spawn.

If McCree is clever with his ult, the enemy team is wiped before they can find him, and he can go back to the objective. If Pharah is clever with her ult, she'll kill maybe a couple of people before getting shot down, and then she can spend some time watching the kill cam.

Tf2 is balanced around the defenders having a longer respawn time. This is fair because both teams have advanced mobility options to get themselves back in the fray.
Overwatch heros have to plod back into the fight on foot. The closer the paylaod is to the defenders spawn, the less they have to travel.
You could balance this by increasing the defender's spawn timers they closer the payload is to the end.

Tracer is actually one of the harder heroes, if you suck as her you're definitely not helping your team. With other heroes you can still be sort of useful just by knowing their basic mechanics, but as Tracer (and a few others too) you pretty much won't do shit against anybody decent if you haven't gotten at least a little bit skilled with her abilities.

Bastion is a tool. Even in comp 55+ I whip him out if the enemy team comp lacks DPS, and usually hit 2-3 gold medals.
I get most of my bastion kills by moving every 2-3 kills. If they aren't prefiring or rein shielded they are at best breaking even.

He does more damage per shot than Soldier so it sorta balances it out.
Basically, you wind up as Soldier 76 with more health/armor, a heal that only heals yourself, and no sprinting/rockets. Not as good as being Soldier, but it works fine in some cases if you recon around while looking for a chance to jump into surprise turret mode and mow people down from behind.

Torb needs a turret and main gun nerf.
The main weapon is VERY powerful.
It's also projectile based, so you can shoot Hanzo style.
The curve also helps a LOT, so you can take out people behind cover, snipers, everyone.

Mate I can't remember the time I was outsniped at the start of Kings Row. Even if I'm not killing the enemy sniper right away it's better than letting him have free potshots at my team trying to get through that first choke? Also I can clear any Torb turrets that are visible from the sniper ledge, and point out where the Torbs and Roadhogs are hiding behind the wall with my recon arrow every ~20 seconds.
