Should I buy Morrowind?
The only Elder Scrolls I've played is Skyrim. I thought it was alright, but the characters are kind of generic and I can't say I really enjoyed the combat. I heard Morrowind being so well recommended, I might give it a try. I really enjoy Dark Souls and Witcher and I want to get immersed into another world. Is Morrowind a good idea?
P.S.: I don't care that it has been a bit cheaper earlier this year.

mad max does a lot of bad things, but what it does do is pretty good. Problem with it is it's super linear and generic. You basically do the same 5-10 things on 3 different maps. But it's some of the best car combat that has been done in a long time.

Morrowind combat is tabletop RPG mixed with real time.
So your actions, like swinging, have a diceroll if they hit, with different factors, like fatigue and skill level, influencing the diceroll.
In short; if you're fatigued and your skill level in a weapon type is low, you'll see the animation but the attack will miss 9/10 times. If you are not fatigued and have high skill level, you will almost always hit. At skill level 50 with full stamina, I rarely missed.

Dragon's Dogma was my favorite game for YEARS before it came to PC, and if my PC would stop fucking stuttering at the Tower, I'd have triple the time in it. Definitely a good game, but i'll admit that it takes getting past the encampment to truly enjoy.

That's basically every roguelite since Isaac. Most of the time if you don't have the really good items with good synergies, you're not going to fucking win unless you have the dodging abilities of an olympic level autist.

I picked up Shellshock Live. It's a kind of lame version of Scorched Earth, but the online is surprisingly active and the community so far seems pretty chill. It has a decent progression system for leveling up and unlocking weapons, as well as a system for upgrading your tank. It was like $4.50 or something, so even if it dies in a month I'll have gotten my money's worth out of it.

Dust is pretty good. Not super fucking amazing, but for the price of admission it's a really fun game. Hell, I'd even go as far as to say that the characters are enjoyable too, furshit and all.
Deadly Premonition is an experience. You either love it or hate it. I do not recommend getting the PC port unless you enjoy shit tons of reconfigurating with the occasional crash. The Xbox 360 port is the most stable release.

Star Ruler 2 is really fucking neat and unique, but it's not all that fun to be honest. I refunded it as well. It does scifi really well, lots of cool shit, but you spend most of your time managing planets and queueing up resources and so on. It is a really good game, crafting is really extense and building a base for you to survive is the main objective of the game, i totally recommend it.
Just some tips:
Making days longer/shorter can make the game incredibly hard or incredibly easy, i suggest you to leave it on default, maybe just a bit longer.
Structure weight is one of the main fatures, so be sure to make a lot of supports or your shit will fall apart, making you lose 3/4 of the mats you used.

That could actually work really well. Imagine an open world game with no islands or lands and you just go around on a boat and fight huge ass monsters with a cannon and go deep sea diving all over the place and explore the depths finding attachments for your ship. It would more often then not be dark and dull because of how thick the clouds are, but from time to time you get a sunshine and have an easier time finding things because of the glimmer. I'd skip Dragon's Dogma if you've ever played a Souls game its super boring to play in comparison. Grid 2 is decent but if you're looking for a racing sim skip it. Dead Space is a decent series but short, about 25-30 hrs to complete all 3. First game is amazing but wasn't as big of a fan of 2 or 3.
Bioshock I found overrated as fuck for years compared to System Shock, Infinite is much better than 1 or 2 at least.
Final Fantasy I've always found bland and overrated except for FF9.

Rabi-Rabi is god tier, I got 100 hrs out of it. Perfect game to play on harder difficulties, boss fights and music are fantastic. Tons of achievements if you care about that shit and the devs keep adding little things every once in a while. Also the artbook adds more lvls/content to the original game, I'd recommend buying it as well.
Also you can play it non-linear, they put a lot of into the game.

Morrowind is definitely the best value $/hr and is fantastic, but remember that the game is not the same as skyrim, it involves more reading and is less handholdy. Go to vg and check out a modding guide for some tweaks, although vanilla the game is more playable than the new ones
