The predator quest is optional and one good quest hardly makes an entire quest line worth it. Novigrad was the slowest part of the main questline and a chore to do. The side quests in Novigrad were much better though.

most definitely, the story of HoS is better in everyway than the story in the main game, better characters, more upgrades, new map area added and new monsters. Same goes for BaW though im only halfway through it, i put this dlc up there with the gta4 dlc, so fucking good it can be sold on a separate disc on its own. Pulled 20hrs from the first dlc which was meant to be 10 and now the new one is meant to be 20hrs so i expect plenty.

The graphics are fine. The biggest issue with the console versions is the pop-in and the low NPC density. Although you only really notice the NPC density in the major cities, where there will be many food stalls that are left unattended. The framerate stays at a constant 30 fps as well. If you already have a ps4 just buy it for that, since by the sounds of it you'd need to do a complete overhaul on your pc.

Yes, 4 damage per charged kill BUT you can only ever add 10 damage to it in total per level.
Like if you get the sword at level 40, you can add 10 damage until you reach 41, then you can add another 10 etc.
So in the long run if you can't make mad levels it's not worth it.
But it makes the game more fun, It's not that easy to get a kill with 10 stacks. need to not take damage in 10 hits and you need to not kill the monster before 10 stacks.
Don't know how many times I've had 9-10 charges only to then take damage or kill the monster at 9 charges.

First time through, I went to the meeting and got the witcher Ciri ending, which I thought was good.
I helped her fuck up Avalla'ch's lab because I thought he was a creepy cunt from way back early in the game, when you find his writings on Lara Doren and everything just sound like "I want to fuck an ancient-blood-bearing bitch". It also relieved the stress of not having the option to run through that arrogant elf cunt you meet there.
Trying to cheer her up after Vesemir died also seemed like a good choice, since Avalla'ch's incessant pestering with how we lost and how Ciri wasn't ready and she should mourn and then hide, along with Yennefer bickering with him. Doing something to help her distract herself for a second and then working towards getting her pumped for the big fight seemed more sensible than following Avalla'ch's bullshit, which clearly wasn't working.
