I played the Simpsons Game on PS2. For a licensed action game? Was pretty good, it's up there as far as a video game adaptation goes.
It's a standard action game with some platforming, with you playing as different characters, I think. The levels are varied, mostly based on other games. The jokes are pretty nice, not 3 - 9 nice, but still pretty good. It even has a joke about how greedy EA is, and you fought Matt Groening and Futurama characters/

The original final episode, with the robot devil and the honophoner, was so damn good. It was ambiguous but also truthful to the show's spirit: it hinted that Fry and Leela had a future together, and in a way that was very cute, but it was also honest enough to leave it semi-open, because Fry and Leela genuinely are too different as characters.
The later reboot seasons are just shit... completely miss the point of the series, and the jokes miss the mark totally.

It's already jaring enough that all the chacraters do that Flash animation shit where when they aren't the ones talking they stand in a Daze like they tuned out everyone. People have said the same things forever but it doesn't mean one of them isn't eventually right. The circumstances behind each generation disrespecting the new media is different. Most of them were for moral or religious reasons, I think the homogeneity and dullness of new movies is a pretty visible occurrence. Depending on what punchline they need him for he basically makes a 180 as a character. Hell it used to be fucking Top Cat and Flintstones all day long when CN first came on air, riding Hanna Barbera's coattails till they got their own shows "Cartoon Cartoons" and other rights. I think the "horror" aspect of Courage is why people think fondly of it. But if you go back and watch it, most of the horror is the weak stuff you'd see in Tales from the Crypt, while yes, the comedy was almost always slapstick or Courage's weird noises.

Stan may have had his entire identity zapped, but beyond that, it seems that he wasn't completely fucked up and 'loopy' like repeat users tend to get, so the memory rehab working isn't too much of a stretch.
