Never played Fallout 3, but I can't enjoy Skyrim.
I played it vanilla, but the dialogue options were limited and the combat was just ass. At first I thought it was because I went with the generic warrior class, so I rerolled into a mage - same result: just mindless uninspired dungeon clearing boredom inducing combat. Later I decked my game, and I mean FUCKING decked my game with mods. I'm talking Ordinator (cooler perks mod), Apocalopyse (more spells), a whole lot of different armors (Tribunal Robes and Masks), and so many more, but nothing has changed. The gameplay is just so dull, repetitive, and consists of so many uninspired quests and dungeons. I don't know, maybe I grew out of video games, who can guess. I want to say that I can't recommend this game, but 95 percent of the world population believe this game to be a masterpiece so who am I to judge.

Yeah no shit, the hardware was so outdated even at the time that a game like this gets high praise because of the content in it. They don't care for the game-breaking bugs and glitches as long because hurr open world games always have bugs.
I went into the game blind without any hype and was disappointed at the level of AI and stupid game-breaking shit that wouldn't let me continue the quest. I only managed to put up with it cause the world felt large and there was a lot of shit in it.
