RE5 is fine solo, the AI is retarded but there's only 2 parts where they can fuck up (the first wesker fight and that part with the lickers on the walkway while you push the carts out of the way)
Anything below professional difficulty is perfectly soloable while playing normally. I wouldn't say those two parts are any worse than playing as Sherry in RE2

Payday 2 at release was very enjoyable. Then they started shoveling so much god damned dlc for the game I couldn't keep up. Not just that, some of the dlc was just really fucking stupid and was just cheap cash ins on popular things.
