Don't let nostalgia fool you. Crash is a linear shitty platformer with terribly inaccurate controls. And when you're a platformer I should hope controls are your strongest point.

The first one is damn near unplayable now.
The second one is the only one worth playing but even then has shitty controls.

What? The first Crash is perfectly balanced in that it is quite easy if you play through casually but also quite difficult if you try to 100% it. The only weakness of the series is the bosses.
