Medallion's humming.Witcher thread, gotta be.
>you will never be able to main a female witcher
This game with its gorgeous graphics is supposed to be the saviour of waifu simulators.

Why is the combat in witcher 1 so horrendous?
I've read the books and bought the trilogy to jump in the series but I wasn't expecting a shitty combat like that from witcher 1
I cant force myself to play that shit and this is a real buzz kill since the books were good and I know witcher 3 is good too
>>342921528
I like it better than TW2's combat desu.
>>342920963
So is Gaunter O'dimm the devil?
Why is Regis so based?
Best mods for Witcher 1? I already did a vanilla playthrough about 2 years ago.
>>342921528
I played up to chapter 3 before I lost the save to hard drive failure and now whenever I think about playing the game again I remember how fucking boring chapter 2 was.
>109 hours in
>this shit is ridiculous I gotta finish this game
>blaze through skellige
>finish the goddamn story
>want to play Dark Souls 3 or #FE
>remember that I have the season pass for Witcher 3
I've lost all control of my life

Rise of the White Wolf
>>342923607
>blitzing witcher 3
How about no?
Play witcher for 1 or 2 hours every day then play another game, you don't have to finish it in one run anon
>>342921528
I just started playing Witcher 1 yesterday, the combat is a bit, weird, but it kind of works, it's got some interesting aspects. Also the hellhound boss you fight near the end of Chapter 1 was bullshit levels of difficulty, eventually just strengthened my Aard so I could one shot that fucker.
>>342923607
I lost a good three and a half weeks to this game. I know that same feeling.
>>342923607
This but for Witcher 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles X
This generation has been so good for RPGs.
>>342921528
Just play on easy difficulty so you can breeze through. Nobody's playing that game for it's gameplay anyways.
>>342923607
thankfully for you
both Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine are excellent, while being short stories that you can finish in one day.
>>342923747
That's how I've been treating. I've been playing the game since release day. Just 1 hour a day like it's a TV show.
>>342922763
Could just be a demon but he is pure evil
Eskel's dick is hueg
>>342923747
I feel bad for doing it because I loved every second of the game, but when I try to play games in small chunks I end up never getting back around to them.
>>342923846
XCX would be one I never got back to.
>>342923607
>>342923945
Unfortunately for you though, blood and wine draws from the books quite heavily, and has a lot of references to them
If you haven't read them I can't imagine you relating or being attached to any of the characters
>>342924153
Hi Triss
>>342924367
I have read them. I just started The Swallows Tower this week.
>listening to the sword of destiny audiobook
>that cute geralt and ciri interaction
CUTE!
The way Witcher 3 feeels like a sequel to the books almost make the story of Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 feel worthless.
I mean all you really need to take from those games is that the war escalated again.
>>342922763
In their universe there is no devil but it explains in the lore that he is evil incarnate
Is there a better translation of the book? The official one seems like of dry.
Avallac'h did nothing wrong

i'd let geralt roughly purr in my ear anyday

Don't talk about Jake Gyllenhaal that way.
Somebody help me out here, I can't seem to sink my teeth into TW3 after 16 hours. I did manage to beat the second game, yet by the end I only did so for the sake of completing it. I just don't find myself thoroughly enjoying it whenever I jump in, maybe because it's so absolutely stuffed with content that I almost can't keep track of what is going on. Also, I've only managed to level up about 3 or 4 times and I'm often running into beasts that take an immense amount of hits and snuff me out quickly at the same time. Maybe I need to git gudder, but it's really putting me off. Playing on blood and broken bones btw.

Take a break from playing witcher and get back when you get wander lust for a sandbox game
You're just burned out of the game and forcing yourself to play the game will just make it worse
I got this game because you fags said it was GOAT material. The combat is utter shit. Fuck you all.
>>342928513
K
If it helps please accept my humble apology for buying whatever anonymous people tell you without doing your own research first before spending your money
>>342928463
Being burned out on it wasn't the issue, not like I played for 16 hours straight. In fact, I did take a sizeable break from it and only reinstalled to see if I'd get hooked, but I was wrong. Maybe the game isn't right for me anymore as I've grown tired of open world games. Maybe I lean towards more structured and linear games nowadays because of a lack of time and thus patience for sandbox titles. Maybe I'll give it another shot soon.

exploring and shit wouldn't be such a chore and a bore if geralt didn't control like a fuckin idiot by jogging 10 feet after stopping
and gettin on the horse is shit compared to mgs5 horse mounting
>>342929380
Yeah, I guess that's something I can put my finger on. I often found myself wrestling with the controls to get where I intended to go, while in MGS5 everything was precise and tight.
