But the character seems not very popular at all, but thats even better because people wont know your moveset all that well.
I spent fucking sixteen hours in the main room watching every tournament, I had to sustain myself through glazed donuts, cookies, and poweraide, and I fell asleep 3 times during.
It was a 3 hour drive and I worked till midnight the day before, so I had to be on the road 6 am.
It was pretty hype.

So how hard is Tekken on a pad? I've heard people say certain button combinations can have you pressing both X and Triangle at the same time and I'd really love to study some popular button configs to be a pad player if that's the case.

It really depends on what you want. Tekken 7 is coming to PC and SFV is already there. Only reason to buy PS4 right now is if you want GGRev, BB, KOFXIV, and MKXassuming you forgive NRS for fucking up the PC stuff.
Even then, PC got GGXrd eventually and the KoF people have acknowledged their PC ports tend to do pretty well. Also, it has the "PS4 exclusive" sticker that SFV has, but I think some people are reading into it too much.

Tekken is excellent on a pad. Advanced movement techniques like wavedashing and korean backdashing are a lot easier with a pad than a stick. With regards to button combinations you can always set up button combinations on the shoulder buttons and triggers, or alternatively you can place your controller on your lap and tap at the buttons like you would a fight stick like some people do.

I couldn't get my eyes used to them. They feel so out of context, out of Tekken and makes the game more similar to other two. It also feels like rage art would slow down the gameplay and make special moves less important or even not at all. It'll take the fun and excitement of untimed super moves away.
And that's why I still think Tekken 4 is the best despite dull content.

Yes. I just don't like the designs and the over the top moves where they fly 10 feet into the air and do a triple backflip kick and their head flies off. I did say most though. I like Dragunov, Feng and Miguel but I especially hate characters like Lars, Alisa, Asuka and Lili. I will learn their match ups but I will never ever pick them.

it's the move king does at the end of the webm. it's f, f, f+2+4. you basically have to go from standing, into a run, and then do forward+throw. the timing is really fucking hard for me and there are a shit ton of tutorials on youtube about how to get it right but i've never been able to do it consistently.
its technically a running jaguar bomb when he does it on an opponent on the ground or in the air, but it's a shining wizard when the opponent is standing up. same input though.

Combination of devil possession and butthurt.
Kazuya let his younger self be possessed by the Devil in order to escape death when Heihachi threw him out of a cliff; he grows up and challenges Heihachi at the Tekken Tournament, Kazuya wins and takes the Mishima Zaibatsu for himself, being a more shaddy CEO than Heihachi ever was.
Then the story is sort of changed to "Devil Gene" instead of flat out demonic possession, Kazuya simply let his gene awaken when he dropped off dead on that cliff. -- Tekken 3
Then it develops into another twist right away in Tekken 4, Kazuya was all evil along by effortlessly surpressing the Devil Gene trying to take him over.
Now in Tekken 7 it is adding this out-of-nowhere beef Kazuya has with Heihachi for he feels his mother was killed by him, or at least Kazuya feels Heihachi is responsable, which might not be true since Heihachi has some damn mournful intro quotes against Kazumi.
