>can't focus on a game for more than 30 minutes
>gain no enjoyment from games anymore
>don't care about side objectives, usually just do the main story then never touch it again
>excited about games coming out and enjoy buying games but never play them when they do
I'm very tired and ready to go.

Nice to see other people with their priorities straight.

I feel the same. I take games incredibly slowly now because I don't want to finish them too fast.
Most recently it took me over 13 months to play through Metro 2033
>don't care about side objectives, usually just do the main story then never touch it again
I know that shit m8
Its so weird for me to see people get excited about expansion packs, or care about fiddling with mods. I just do the the campaign as fast as possible to cross out mental checkbox, and forget about the game forever

I have a hard time playing games that I used to enjoy when I was younger. I also are a lot less likely to start games that have a higher learning curve, unless it's a system that I have some knowledge of.

You need to go back to basics. Play a game you feel like playing, not because you have somthing you need to complete. I got to that point. Buting games just to finish them. Wouldn't play completed games even though i felt like it because i thought of it as a waste of time.
Sounds like you have ADD dipshit
I was starting to feel the /tiredgamer/ feels, so I started reading. Now I'm hooked, and somehow I'm also enjoying video games again.

If that's how you feel, then why don't you go get a job or start doing something creative, like write a book or something

tired or depressed?

not an easy thing to do anon
Just posted this in another thread but whatever
There's only ever been like 4 or 5 games that I haven't finished in the last 20 years. I actually have an autisticly color-coded Excel spreadsheet of the games I want to play/complete.Quitting vidya forever once I finish em all. Should be this time next year.

maybe I should give this reading thing a try, too. A lot of people seem to enjoy it
That's what happens when you have a job and don't have tons of free time anymore.
After getting home from work and organising dinner just playing a game for an hour or two is pretty much your entire night gone.
Games have gotten way too time consuming. Used to be you could pick up and play and beat them in about 3 hours. Now you have to endure 3 hours of cutscenes, 3 hours of tutorials and 3 hours of backtracking while the actual game part takes 3 hours to start.
It's just a bloated mess.

kill yourself you fucking sperg
go find another hobby, if you don't want to play games then don't you mong
>>342896324
What if you don't have a job? All I do is play games now but I can't focus on them. I can only play for a short while before getting bored or frustrated and browsing 4chan.
