What are you playing and looking forward to?
I'm about to boot up Grandia 3 and am looking forward to I Am Setsuna next month, super hyped for DQ and SMT as well.
Have FF15 pre order just for pre order exclusive DLC and I have a steelbook fetish.
I just want DQ, SMT looks good too but it's sound track is so small and lackluster compared to IV which is annoying.
Got Tokyo Mirage sessions the same day Infinite space came in, not sure which one to play first.

I don't really care about the covered cleavage and lack of vagina bones because I don't like girls so I'm obviously not just playing to look at some titties.
I'll agree that the censorship does make some of the designs look objectively worse, but that's not worth giving up a nice time sink.
Most looking forward to Etrian Odyssey V and Trails in the Sky third chapter, but both those are gonna be a long wait. In the meantime I'm gonna grab Cold Steel 2 and SMT4A when they come out. Also looking forward to DQVII, but sepetember is gonna be a busy month as it is.

I've tried playing three different final fantasy games, IV, VI, and VI, and could make myself beat any of them. In IV I got half way through and quit, in VI I actually did two playthroughes up to a little over the world of ruin, and with VII I stoped at the end of disk 1. Love mother and DQ though. Maybe I have super shitty taste, I don't know. I think some day I might try VI again.

I've tried golden sun and didn't like it, found it bland. I also tried breath of fire III and made it up to the dragon zombie before I quit, plan to try bof II and IV. I own a copybof final fantasy tactics on ps1 but never tried it, got it real cheap at a flea market. Will try.

I'm currently playing through BoF IV and everytime I press and hold on the circle button my party members would spin in circles and then they would switch their orders in line.

I can only follow one or two RPG series at once due to time constraints.
I've purchased quite a few JRPGs this past month. I still need to find a way to priotitize Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (uncensored, mind you) and Trails of Cold Steel. Looking forward to the sequel of the latter, DQ, FFXIV, P5, and maybe getting Star Ocean 5 next month since GE comes out next week.

Finally going through Barkley, Shut Up And Jam: Gaiden. Really enjoying the plot, just finished Liberty Island.
Probably gonna return to DQVI after not playing it for way too long, especially now that we know when VII is coming.

Bought it because it was cheap on the PSN store and the graphics look comfy for a PS1 game. I'm really starting to regret buying it now.

I'm currently replaying FFVII and trying to get through it this time. I always end up quitting on Disk 2. Before that I played FFIV.
I'm mostly playing FF games because of how long its taking Dragon Quest to get localized.

Nigger SMT4 Final has MORE music than SMT4. It's just that the OST (as in the album) for SMT4 Final doesn't include the reused tracks from SMT4, because why would it? It only has the new tracks.
The actual game has all those new tracks + almost all the music from SMT4 itself.

It's a 'sequel' to Space Jam, and a heavy dose of it is inspired by and references the major boom of basketball in pop culture that happened throughout the 90s. If you grew up in the 90s, or are just knowledgeable about basketball, you should understand a fair portion of it.
Of course, I'm sure it's pretty funny even if you don't know who certain people are. On the flip side of things as well, it does parody video games, particularly older JRPGs, so there's that. I say give it a shot, especially since it's a short and free game. Even if you don't 'get' the jokes, it still has better atmosphere and music than it has any right to have.

Probably. I always seem to quit after all the Big Materia fetch quests or at the Submarine. But I'm having more fun with it than before so I hope I'll get to the end this time.
Already pretty much broke the game halfway through Disk 1 by finding a crazy materia combination. Transform + Added Effect + Cover + Counter Attack. Everything that attacks me gets turned into a frog and mini'd. We'll see if it works on the enemies in Temple of the Ancient.

Just play it blind. If you end up liking it, then play it again sometime. I actually had more fun playing it the second time as the biggest drawback to DQVI is the backtracking. When you already know where to go, the focus leans more towards maxing skills. But doing that with a guide just isn't the same.

I'd go in blind and then do some reading when you get to the jobs; not sure if you knew or not, but 6 is the start of the job system that gets used in 7 and 9; i think it's obnoxious and bloated but some people really like it i guess.
I kinda dislike the gameplay mechanics of 6, but the world building and exploration are some of the best in any DQ game in my opinion. It would be a shame to spoil it for yourself going in.

It's great. It basically is a high end android device with buttons. I have to say the controls are not the comfiest because the device is a bit bulky, but for RPG's is great. You can assign buttons to savestate if you want, I click the left stick to save and the right to load. As for heaviest emulator I guess n64, although there's not many of them and most have trouble running most games. For pretty much everything else is great, no slowdowns or anything whatsoever.

Might buy Muramasa Rebirth since it's on sale, but I'm debating on it since I'm thinking about selling my Vita anyway. After that I'm going to play Shin Megami Tensei II (and III-IV Final). Not looking really forward to SMT II since it seems like it'll just be more of the same of I which I got kind of bored with, but I may as well play it. I'm looking forward to III and IV Final the most. Not sure why Final has my attention, I haven't even played IV yet.

Trails of Cold Steel, I'm finishing chapter 3. This is my first time playing a TLoH game and I really liking it so far. I just bought Trails in the Sky on Steam.
I also bough #FE yesterday but I don't know when I'll play it. I just did it because the clerk from my favorite vidya store told me the distributor only sent 50 copies and they already sold 10.

Been working on Resonance of Fate. It's a massive disappointment and I don't know if I have the patience to keep going. I'm on chapter 3 and the fact that I've heard that it's not going to change much up to the end isn't helping my confidence in finishing it. I think the only thing pushing me onward right now is the fact that I hated Dust: An Elysian Tail even more and forced myself to finish it.
As for what I'm looking forward to, can't wait to get my hands on both Dragon Quest games, I've got the collector's edition of FFXV pre-ordered, Star Ocean arrives this week, SMTIV: Apocalypse drops in September and it looks nice, and I'm also expecting Grand Kingdom on Tuesday. Of course, Persona 5 looks nice as well and that drops in February. Setsuna looks pretty good so I'll be getting that as well.
I'm thinking about starting up Tales of Symphonia once I finish or give up on RoF.
