I learned where every insta-death section was and and how to navigate the flight sections flawlessly before attempting it. Only died once from a failed tk shot with an explosive. Was too close and gibbed me. Otherwise it went smoothly. Even have a save right before the boss room after the eye machine.

Dark Souls 2 - FUCKING DARK SOULS 2 - has a pair of rings. One is for beating the game WITHOUT EVERY DYING, and another is for beating the game WITHOUT TOUCHING A BONFIRE.
That is absolutely fucked. If any of you madmen have earned those two, you have my respect.
