I remember little specifics because for most, the first scene is all their scenes.
Besides chihiro not killing moskitoes, Celeste baldfacedly lying to you everytime you asked her something- including in trials-, AHOAHOAHO, esp, Sakura's beautiful voice, tell them naegi, GENOCIDERRR, wanting to kill hiro everytime he opened his fucking mouth, and junko's antics, quite a few scenes blend together.
Hina is the most forgettable character in the game : she got an entire trial and yet she's equally irrelevant for the entire rest of the game. They could have removed both, made togami tamper with act 4 again, and nothing would have changed.

As much as I love DRIF, it wasn't officially written by kodaka. The guy who wrote DURARA! authored DRIF and you can tell a bit in the writing. If Kodaka had written we would've had at least one confirmed casualty. Also mukuro acted against junko because she knew fucking up her plans would cause her a greater despair than them succeeding. Hell Junko even kinda wants then given her final thoughts in DR0.

Far from canonical, though imagine how DR would've turned out if Kodaka had done multiple endings like zero escape and included a route where you could save everyone. Like the conversations you have determine who lives and who dies. I like her because I think her story is pretty tragic, like the other guys said. Even though Mukuro did horrible things, you still get the feeling she could've redeemed herself had she lived long enough to do so. With Aeris, her death was her striking out against Sephiroth after he stole the Black Materia. It was calculated by her, she knew she was going to die, Cloud just didn't know that yet. it's exemplified the most in Mukuro, who you can't really get a clear picture on until you've basically read everything there is in DR. First she's Junko, impatient and unable to grasp the situation they're in. Then she's the "16th Student" and you're thinking she's the probable mastermind behind the killing game. Then you learn about her role and what Junko tells you about her, and she comes off as some despair junkie like Junko. Then you play SDR2 and read IF and understand more about what being an Ultimate Despair is, and she becomes a pitiable figure.
