I can't do stuff I do on a computer on a PS4. I can't emulate, I can't write stuff, I can't draw and I can't play games like Europa. The PS4 does have a couple games I'm interested in, but I don't think it's a suitable PC replacement

I do have a PS4 but console's strengths are being convenient and significantly cheaper. The fact that it's targeted hardware makes a big difference. You could never get a game that looks as nice as UC4 to run on a PC with the same specs.

I have a PS4 and it doesn't even support my DFGT wheel. I'm expected to drop a few hundred dollars on ANOTHER wheel controller because this generation doesn't allow me to use last gen's wheel. My PC has no problems using my wheel, my flight stick or any controller I've tried so far. So no. I won't be ditching my PC for the NEO. I barely play my PS4 as it is, I can't imagine NEO offering much better of an experience. Even PSVR isn't as good as what Oculus and HTC are offering.
Even if you gave me a NEO for free, I still wouldn't buy my multiplats on it. Why would I, when I can't even play the multiplats of last gen on my current PS4? How can I expect Sony to offer backwards compatibility on the PS5 if the PS4 can't even play fucking PS1 games?
No. If I had a NEO it would offer the same entertainment value as my current PS4. It would be something I use for exclusives and Netflix, but for absolutely everything else, I think I'll stick to the machine which lets me play whatever games I want, from whatever generation I want, with whatever peripherals I want.
PS4 is cool, but no iteration of it is a replacement for anything other than another Sony console.

I bought one for $47 that kept blue screening on me. downgraded from 10 back to 7 and it still kept happening. ran all the updates, drivers, scan test and shit. still didn't fix it. didn't bother sending it back since it was so cheap, but I won't be buying another sub $100 ssd.

Much of the industry budget for the majority of multiplat games comes from console sales.
No console sales = very small budget for PC releases.
Consoles are where the pubs and devs make their money, as most games make or break on the profit they get during their launch window, not the Steam sales which come out a year later.
Without the consoles pushing devs, they wouldn't have the budget to make the PC releases as they do.
Frankly, console gaming pushes gaming as a whole forward. You're delusional if you think otherwise, as the market would collapse spectacularly if it didn't exist, and with that collapse would go all the middleware engines which make their bread and butter off the console market.
If console gaming didn't exist, PC gamers would get a shitload of babby's first game Steam releases, a shitload of indies and maybe 3 or 4 worthwhile titles a year which actually pushed their hardware.
What yall don't seem to understand is that because of the unison of Xbox + PC, they're going to put Sony out of business.
