The first one is okay, but there's no real Tomb Raiding but lodes of shooting. It's worth a play through but it's more like Uncharted sans hours of cutscenes.
Rise is actually pretty good. A lot better visuals, stealth, better gameplay, you don't have to kill everyone all the time, and actual fucking tomb raiding. Plus they have endless and challenge modes too. I'd recommend just going to Rise.

The rebooot itself is pretty weak, especially in terms of story; however, RotTR is a pretty solid game, not as good asUncharted 4, but still pretty damn solid andfun.

Only played the first one and it was very mediocre. Only really good thing about it was the combat which is surprisingly solid in the more complex areas since you are encouraged to jump all over the place instead of sticking to cover.

Funny how Rise is the exact opposite of that. It has the same gameplay as the last game which leaves a lot to be desired, there's exactly ONE mandatory tomb they shoehorned into the very beginning with the others being the same side content optional content full of cave "tombs". I've only played the first reboot and it's the definition of okay. Gunplay is mediocre, exploration there but so out of your way it's like "eh", puzzles are basic as fuck, the set pieces are "epic" but since Lara isn't charming like Drake they're not as fun. Graphics are great, story is passable, characters are one note as fuck. I'd pick it up for no more than $20-30.I wish there were more great TPS these days.

Thw first one is really good but it is more like a poor man ubcharted. Theres lots of shooting and scripited events that break the action but the game gets significabtly better as you progresses trough it. Multplayer is dead thoigh, so if you wanna get the plat or something forget it.
