I'll start with a classic.

Except i can't run the steam version properly on my surface pro 4 because the resolution is too high so everything is too small

What if your toaster runs on gears and pulleys?
Because mine can't even run M&B.
I had a good time with Baldur's Gate 2 tho.

EU series, HOI 2+3, SSI rpgs, Fallout 1+2, Baldur's Gate + Infinity Engine games, etc. Pretty much anything on GOG that's more than 10 years old

>EU series, HOI 2+3, SSI rpgs
What did he mean by this?

You mean Cossacks, the superior AoE?
FPS:
Doom I and I, Blood, Shadow Warrior ('97), Duke Nukem
Stratego: Xcom:UFO Defense (and the other two 90's Xcom games), Age of Empire II, Civilization III or IV I guess (depending on how much of a shitter you're running)
And a bunch of shit in the pic related.

HOI 4 really fucks up a toaster once you get in an an alliance and you see the whole world, is this true for HOI 2+3?
Should run on a toaster. Download some mods and play one of the most comfy games.
I wonder why it never gets mentioned on /v/

ONLY
Has surprisingly advanced graphics for it's time (2002 IIRC)
I'll name some
>Bodies, guns, even shells, blood etc doesn't disappear
>Cars feel like cars, detalised driving, manual works, even neutral and clutch keys included, in depth car damage , other small but nice features
>police fines you for speeding, arrests you for showing a gun and shoots you for shooting, if you kill a policeman behind his FOV, you don't get any wanted status
>although you can't choose a difficulty, it's somewhat demanding
>nice music, sets a brilliant atmosphere
And above all , a great story, once you have played this, mafia 2 will seem like a total letdown and downgrade to say the least
>>342818449
Of course.
bump, I'll post some more if there's activity

Who is Ian and why is he not in the Steam version?
>>342817935
There might be some slowdown once you hit lategame but its still playable for the most part. Graphics turned down low for HOI3 of course

Any clausewitz engine game should work, be it CK2, I'd think stellaris as well, if you turn the graphics down and even remove some things from the map
e.g. I removed the trees and some other stuff from the map in CK2, you'd think that by switching to political view they get " shut off" but it's not the case, improved my fps great, barely stuttering as well, and I'm not running it on any super PC
Amazing game that should run on any toaster.
Circa 1992 if I am not mistaken, fun as hell, you play as some fictional MI6 service with full access to all the methods of dealing with politicians, suspects and organisations, I run it on some DOS simulator

Start online game and invite, if ethernet is connected it will automatically pick LAN. They made the process detect it instead of letting you pick it.
