The last time I tried to get into it, it seemed like a buggy confusing mess

This game has interested me for a while but I heard it's exceptionally hard to get into
Post tips, isn't there like a beginners guide image floating around?
Just play the game, follow objective markers, complete objectives, gain brouzouf, make sure your legs are OK.
The only thing hard to get is the story, which makes as much sense as you can make of it.
Otherwise, it's pretty fun.
