/v/ hates tf2 because it's the hip thing to do since Overwatch came out.
used to be good til they added trading and then f2p

Oh my god I cannot even believe these people were allowed to create games like this in the 2000s. I heard good things about Team Fortress 2 so I decided to make my own character and there's no transgender option or even non-binary genderqueer.
The only female premade character is probably the pyro who showboats her "stunning good looks" in some taunts. Seriously developers need to check their outrageous privilege.

Just so you don't sperg out, i think overwatch is overrated but /v/ hating on it is not a thing that begun with overwatch. Maybe just intensified by it.
TF2 from 2007 to 2010 is one of the best multiplayer experiences ever

In my opinion it died in 2014. Mann Vs. Machine was amazing and kept it going for quite a while.
The problem is that they stopped updating the comic that they promised would lead to huge changes. If Valve doesn't give a flying fuck about their game, why should I?
burned out of this game years ago. well past its prime and from what i hear still has tons of years old bugs never fixed. but hey keep adding those cosmetics senpai that is going to save the game
It's fun for a bit when you're messing around in pubs, but if you want something more serious and competitive, it gets boring fast.

Pretty good and fun game. Characters and visuals were very innovative when it came out, since at the time the whole industry was pushing "muh realism" meme in most shooters games. TF2 went to the exact opposite, and it worked flawless. Then they started adding hats, items and microtransactions. Then it became F2P and it became full of austistic bronies and 12 year olds. Now it's a shitfest, no one even play the original game anymore, which at its core was bretty gud.

I really want to get bored of this game and play something else, but sometimes i discover fun ways to use weapons and i just can't stop for a long time.
It was fun back when hats were rare
The game has lost direction completely now that it is f2p
