Its not like Civ if that's what you're asking. Its definitely worth playing, but its focused mostly on domination. Even passive quests ask you to go take over an enemy city.

I suck at endless legend though I enjoy it. Also fucking amazing art style and interface design.
Interesting races that function quite differently from each other as well. I want to get some of my friends in on the game and try out multiplayer.
I like it a lot. Broken Lords are the only race I played as because they were so fun. I gotta play the others eventually.

Civ V has far more to it. In game mechanics, civ choices and replayability.
