do people still play risk of rain? it doesn't really seem worth buying if nobodys playing it anymore.
I'll probably get called a faggot by its defence forse but it's honestly not a very good game
it's a meme game
>>342753026
people still play it, for 2.50 its definitely worth it if only for the single player
though rush to unlock an artifact called glass once you get it
>>342753026
It's worth for the sale price, I still play it with my roommate. It's not amazing, but it's a good game to sit back and sink time into. I think what kills it is unlocking things is a fucking chore.
Also 10/10 Soundtrack
RoR in singleplayer is awesome and hard
they way it's meant to be played
>>342753541
You can change the .ini file really easily to unlock everything
The multiplayer isn't that great anyway, it's either broken, chaos that goes nowhere or a cakewalk.
Singleplayer alone is worth it for that price.
>>342753026
This game has one of the best OST's out there.
>>342753124
I disagree
>>342753026
I have over a hundred hours on it and I can legit tell you to stay away because the effort I put into playing multiplayer just isn't worth it.
Specially with /v/'s retarded ruleset where 2 guys manage to actually plays while everyone else is a spectator. Funballs are cancer.
It's really fucking fun with a bitchin soundtrack
I sunk 50 hours only in singleplayer, have fun with it dude.
>>342753124
I believe you are incorrect, but respect your opinion
the single player is pretty fun anyway
I haven't touched the multiplayer at all but I still see RoR threads popping up all the time with people hosting servers
I like the music.
The whole game is very relaxing to me, even when under heavy fire.
>>342754692
I agree, 8 people? in a game is a clusterfuck. I don't remember the maximum number of people that can join a game since it's been almost two years since the last time I played RoR.
It's more fun if you play with a couple of people you already know.
As much as I despise funballs, people tend to steamroll everything if they aren't present.
>>342757383
We play with 10 people.
>>342753124
you are wrong
So are we playing or what?
I've never played it but I've read in past threads that the game was made with multiplayer in mind so it's a lot more difficult to manage in single player, much like Helldivers. Is that true?
Bought it during the sale.
Less variety than I had hoped, the combat isn't terribly deep and only having one pretty boring character unlocked at the start is shitty, but I'd say it's worth the price.

Not at all, multiplayer was an afterthought, and wasn't even implemented by the guy who made the rest of the game.

I no longer have laughingwhores.jpg due to a fresh install of my OS, so pretend that this picture is a smug anime girl
>>342753026
It still has some value even as a single player game. So for $2.5 it's certainly not a bad deal.
And just having a single friend to play it with also does a lot. Arguably better than playing with full rooms anyway. So it's not like it's required to gather a huge group
>>342764242
It's easier to find full rooms of randoms than a single friend though.
