Calling it rough wouldn't begin to describe the game. For instance, when you carry a weapon your model doesn't actually hold it, instead it floats in the air and your character kinda holds their hand out towards it.
It does a lot of things wrong, but there's absolutely nothing else like it. The story is absolutely incredible and, alongside The Void (another Ice Pick Lodge game), it's probably the only case of a game actually worth being called art.

Doom is good if you want a solid single player experience. It may be linear, but it's worth replaying many times.

Yo, for anyone looking for some good puzzle games, these are my recommendations. Spacechem is dirt cheap at 99 cents and probably one of the best puzzle games ever made. Squarecells and hexcells infinite are both some pretty good games and for cheap, and hexcells infinite literally has an infinite number puzzles to solve. Haven't actually played Knights but it doesn't look bad and it costs nothing at just 69 cents.

Once I got out of the newbie tiers/servers the game just got really boring with all of the exploits (moving your mouse around like a headless chicken on meth) very quickly. Divinity has one of the worst writing in any western rpg, then again the game is almost 100% combat with entire 1/3 of the last part being just one combat encounter after another.
Pillars is full of info dumps and repetitive, but at lest it tries.
To be honest both games are just above mediocre, both suffer from lack of polish and coherent design, both struggle with its old school roots in modern designs. Maybe just skip both.

I can't believe I forgot one of my favorite games for LAN parties and such: Split/Second. Pirate the shit out of it, though. The dev no longer exists and the online is no longer functioning. However, if you LAN or have Hamachi the game still works fine and the game's fun as fuck. Also keep in mind that the game doesn't go above 1920x1080 and is locked at 30fps, however, the game would probably look much crappier and there's literally no reason for it to be above that framerate. So if you can put up with that I'd heavily suggest it.

Far Cry 4 had better characters and story, but gameplay wise wasn't as good.
Far Cry Blood Dragon which is 3.74 on sale IIRC is similarly satisfying to Far Cry 3 and I'd recommend it if you are the type of person with too many steam games owned, play time is 10 to 15 hours vs 30 to 40 but its just as great.

Im also very good at dota, or used to, been some times since i quit it, but sadly thats the end of my dedication to competitive online play. Or do you mean single player games, since what form of measurement would you even take for those, outside of few games none have any performance rating systems.

Maybe? I always pay with a prepaid debit card that I use specifically on purchases I deem shady. As far as key delivery goes, I've bought maybe 15 so far and always received my key within seconds of purchasing. I haven't gotten any warnings from Steam, GOG, or Origins, and all my games work fine
