Fable anniversary has borderline unplayable minigames (required for a sidequest, plus they're fun when they work), butchered faces on story characters because of the graphic update, and audio issues (some sound cues get interrupted when another one plays or just don't play at all).

Got Invisible Inc and it's great, Banner Saga is story not gameplay, Thea is meh at best, too much busywork, Gremlins is a board game without online multiplayer afaik, Hard West is an XCOM clone that's not as good.

I freaking hate the reliance on quest, pacifying those NPC settlements, and how utterly dumb as bricks the AI is. The early game makes me want to punch a brick wall. Running around with your units from barbarian camp, accepting quests, bringing the next settlement those resources. It felt so mandatory and utterly retarded.
I mean, sure, you can just kill them, but the game really relies on you getting those extra units.

Shadow of Mordor is a love it or hate it kinda game.
It takes the movement of ass creed and blends it with the combat of Bamham games. If you like games where you build up to be an OP swordsman who slices up orcs its okay, the most fun part of the game doesn't really happen until you get like 75% done with the story missions and you unlock the branding ability to manipulate the orc ranks.
Other than that, the gameplay is pretty solid and the rival system is kinda neat but most side missions are just copy + paste exist to pad the game out. I'd say for $12 its pretty good if you plan on 100%ing the game, I did that and still haven't touched the DLC and managed to get around 25 - 30 hours. I wouldn't pay more than the current sale price desu.

Reflex' community is basically dead. If you aren't really fucking good at QL/CPM already you're fucked. You can get the occasional duel against someone if you lurk on empty servers long enough, but these people are going to utterly destroy you.
Learning that game is currently nearly impossible just by playing Reflex itself. We're talking about 50 average daily players, all of them CPM players that have been playing the same game and maps for years.
Otherwise the game look and feels great, but unless bots, matchmaking and a playerbase arrive, don't bother until then.

Dark Souls is a broken game, community is pretty dead apart from duelers. There was a mass reset about a month ago though, so things might have changed. There's a lot of software/mods/fixes you should look into, dsfix being the main one.

Witcher 3 w. expansions. I just got it yesterday and it runs surprisingly well on my mid range PC. Also get the STL mod, it makes the lighting look a lot more like the e3 build and makes the game look absolutely gorgeous. All the foliage just pops out and looks much more dynamic because of it, and surprisingly it actually makes the game run better. The only downside is that it doesn't look too great in some cutscenes, but when you're actually playing the game it looks great.
Are the Ys games worth getting?
