What is the best hunting game?
Pic-related is my choice for now (Cabela's Long Ass Title), but the only other hunting game I've played was The Hunter (great maps, shit money scheme). And Duck Hunt.
Advise me, /v/.

Cabelas Big Game Hunter for the PS2 was pretty great. Nothing beats running over boars in a pickup.
Dangerous Hunts was also decent. The second one is a joke though, but still fun to fuck around in. You get to hunt bees.

Therles always carnivores on steam. Its a remaster of the old one with a few new things added. Pretty fun but thats probably from nostalgia.

Why can't people make more hunting games? Far Cry 3 is the closest I've seen. (90% walking, 10% sniping.)

FC1 is not hunting. I'd agree for FC3, as said in the post above yours, much less for FC2. FC3 can be done with 99% sniping, not so with FC2. FC1 is a different beast.
