3DL was an awkwardly fun game to 100%; I played through the game collecting every star (or were they star coins?) and getting all the gold flags, then I find out there's all the bonus worlds and play all those... Then I do it all again as Luigi. The regular worlds were easy as fuck, and the game's difficulty only started to catch up around bonus world 2 or 3, it was fun but some of the levels really sucked the fun out of it. Either way, I 100% (or 400%?) the game and returned it to my brother. 3D World on the other hand was a fun ride from start to finish, even with it's harder levels. That's one of the best co-op games I've ever played.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards did this. The only God card you really get to use is Obelisk the Tormentor. You get Slifer after beating Yugi but at that point there's only 1 duel left in the game and you get the other God card, Ra, after winning the final duel. I beat Xenoblade Chronicles a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Completely turned off on the prospect of playing New Game+ as it's really the same game again except you keep your levels, gear, and Shulk gets the Monado III.
I decided to play it yesterday with the release of Dolphin 5, just to see if there were any noticeable differences in the emulation (which I couldn't really tell), and it really was as boring as I thought it would be. Weak mobs just ignore you, you don't aggro them, and I've killed every boss in under five seconds. It just becomes a walking simulator.

Just getting the dungeon item lets you bypass basically half the dungeon, it's not nearly as "supremely retarded" as you make it out to be. Besides, with ISoT you've got almost 3 hours to finish a dungeon from start to finish anyway which is plenty enough.

Yeah but its from getting all the fairys in the stone power temple. Which is most peoples case is going to be the last dungeon than your at majora shortly after. Its really only useful if you didn't get fierce deity or have beaten the game before and intentionally get it before finishing all the other dungeons. Reverse dungeon order itself is pretty silly and requires you to progress far enough in the dungeons anyway.
