That's because of the way arcade controls are set, have you never seen them? If you are holding X, you can only have it held down until the next X shows up, it's not like Mirai where it sometimes has you press Down while holding A

controls are fine, i've done plenty of alternating and have not had a single dropped input
don't know why that other anon is holding down his notes
as for the multi hold notes that are fucking most of us up it just takes practice
