Had this scanner as a kid, Used the hand book to find out what monster could get the most dps (two machine types could get a 10 in damage, and there where a couple 9s out there.)
Anyways, was struggling for a bit since it was fairly easy to lose your monster after since a single loss would result in a random monster getting taken away, but then I found out if you land the timer thing when attacking on 40 you'd triple your fucking damage. Timing it wasn't that hard and I got all my monsters maxed out abusing this shit. That is until I fucked up enough a few month later in a row and lost my favorite monster. Dropped it sinceAnd by dropped I mean I threw it very hard against the and immediately regretted it, first and only vidya rage
