I never understood why dwarves didn't get the crushingly heavy armour and phalanx style combat. I mean I'm no tunnel warfare expert some warhammer ironbreakers with the underground equivalent of a phalanx (obviously keep the spears short enough to be able to about face in tunnels and shit) would be pretty god damn scary since there would be no going around it unless you dug around it.
