I like the unique controls and the amazing boosting system created a real sense of speed. While some karts were better than others, that added more replayability in my opinion, you had to master the controls and memorize the stages with the slower karts. Speaking of replayability, the adventure mode is best singleplayer in the entire kart racer genre.

You're wrong. Modern Warfare is garbage on its own terms. The single player is literally a linear sequence of set-piece shootouts that present virtually no danger or challenge due to the frequent checkpoints and regenerating health. It's so bad that it's possible to clear entire stages on the hard difficulties without firing a single shot, and just relying on your invincible allies.
The multiplayer on the otherhand basically revolves around who can put their crosshair on the other guy and push the fire button faster. Almost no strategy, fire or recoil control required. It's basically Counter-Strike but worse in all aspects.
Modern Warfare basically ushered in the age of the console shooter and practically ruined the FPS genre for an entire decade.

And? They were very short and memorable segments, and if you wanted you could skip particular missions that were driving oriented, however they were the easiest in the game imho. It's the best TH game in my eyes, it had the most replay value, a goofy story mode with one of, if not THE MOST, obnoxious villian in gaming history, and the refined open world TH game that 4 wasn't. The gimmicky driving and stealth sections of the game are dumb, but by no means hinder the game to be considered the best in the franchise.

I really miss good manuals. I felt a lot more comfortable diving into a game once I'd read its manual cover to cover. Even N64 and Xbox games. I just wanted an overview of the information, know what to expect, what key mechanics were, ect. It was like being briefed.
Nowadays you have to go to a fucking overview from a walkthrough, a wiki, or buy a shitty "strategy guide", for which people will call you casual...even though the included manuals used provide a ton of this key information.
