This game and all controversy went over my head.
Why does this game look so shitty and is so popular. Gameplay looks terrible(some fucking shitty megaman ripoff), graphical fidelity is psp like, and terrible artstyle. Why the fuck is this 3D? It would've been 10000% better with just simple 2d or sprites.
Wtf is this game even? Why the fuck is everyone talking about it. It looks like a joke game like fucking bad rats.

How do I start with megaman? Play them in order?
Can you explain what's the draw with those games? They're extremely linear ,streamlined metroidvania shooters? I mean megaman x or whatever, not classic megaman platformers with dissapearing platforms

Platform shooter. Order doesn't really matter, just grab a good one. I'd personally recommend Megaman X4. It's one of the best and has a PC release, so it's easy to get.

Challenging platformers, great level design, fantastic music, bosses are a great. They're just really wrell made action platformers in a way that Mario never was. Mega Man games are pretty tough, but never go to kaizo levels of impossible.
Any Mega Man game is a good starting point really.

The idea is that it's a platform shooter where you can pick your maps in any order. When you kill a boss, you get their weapon, which you can then use to make other maps/bosses you can't deal with easier.
