For anybody wondering, this is because any uncredited VAs are part of a union, and unions typically don't allow VAs to work on non-union things, such as Zero Escape games, so they go uncredited. How this helps them, I'm not sure.

I fucking love Danganronpa hell it's probably one of my top 3 series but I think it is still so fucking flawed.
The meta mystery is the thing that MAKES Zero Escape so good, how every single detail comes together to form a complexly beautiful meta-narrative. Danganronpa however decides to go bullshit with its meta mystery despite having the AMAZING idea of class trials, especially gameplay-wise. A Danganronpa game with a darker tone (check its beta called "DISTRUST") while not losing that over-the-top style in the class trials, capitalizing on the obnoxiousness of the Hope/Despair theme like in Case 2-5 and with an actually great meta-mystery could near ZE-level goodness for me.
Yes I am fucking hype for New Danganronpa V3. Yes I love both Danganronpa games, they are special to me, but the whole isn't quite something greater than the sum of its parts the way it is with Zero Escape games.

NDRV3 is going to do away with the originals' lore altogether, which IMHO is a wonderful thing given how fucked that became (in terms of being engaging for me). Worth losing characters like Togami and Komaeda if it takes the "high schoolers trapped and forced to kill each other and then play Class Trials" formula to new places.
Also, ZE's meta-mystery angle is always present while in DR that stuff is almost completely on the latter half of the game.

Well i already played VLR without even knowing about 999 (it was a ps+ title), didn't even know it was a sequel since the prequel was an exclusive so a different system. I just thought it was being vague and cryptic about a bunch of things because it wanted to be super mysterious, seemed like that was the case most of the time but after finishing it i did some actual research (avoided googling since i didn't want spoilers) and then it hit me like a sack of asses.
