I'd say BB has harder bosses. Especially when adding in DLC bosses. Artorias was fun as hell, but BB has a few WEW bosses like that.

Depends how you look at it. In BB bosses are faster, much more aggro and have more moves. However getting your health back is also easier in Bloodborne same with dodges. If you would put BB bosses in DaS1 game would be impossible, but with game machanics overall it's much easier to beat them in Bloodborne.
To be fair The witch of hemwick was Moonlight butterfly easy.

DS1 is difficult but its difficulty doesn't really come from the bosses, it's mostly the hordes of enemies, pitfalls, and death traps. BB's difficulty definitely comes from its bosses, I think. I never had any trouble with anything in any Dark/Demon Souls game like I did with the DLC bosses in Bloodborne. I was literally stuck on Ludwig for 2 fucking months before I beat him.
The closest the series has come to since was King Allant in Demon's Souls.

Fucking 4 kings, manus and kalameet. 4 kings forced me to optimize the fuck out of the way to kill them (gravekeeper robe, crystal halberd 2handed and stamina shield).
On the other hand, Darkbeast had to be cheesed with LGS L2 spam, and Ludwig was the only boss I was forced to summon to beat him. Still haven't reached Orphan, but I fear that it's going to be a though fight.

BB is full of artificial difficulty, so obviously BB. The HP pools and the damage you take are so brain dead retarded in BB that the average boss has 4 times the healthbar of the average DS1 Boss and even with 40 vitality you can be OSed by a late boss.
It is not the good kind of difficulty honestly. Not being able to adjust at least once during a fight is pure bullshit.

The only boss in DaS that really gave me trouble was Ornstein and Smough, and while I love the DLC, all the bosses in it were super easy. Base Bloodborne I only really had trouble with Ebrietas, but the DLC was quite difficult for me.

But if we're talking about bosses, then Bloodborne. Bloodborne's counter-damage thing is just fucking broken at times.
The only punishment for fucking up a dodge should be you taking damage. Not taking 100x the normal damage you would have taken. It feels fucking ridiculous when a boss uses a simple attack and it fucking one shots you because the game didn't like the direction you dodged in. Bloodborne is just really fucking punishing when it comes to taking damage compared to Dark Souls 1. Poise in its entirety makes Dark Souls 1 a fucking cakewalk.

Dark Souls bosses are fairly easy once you understand the game. It's just for most people they weren't all that experienced with the combat system and struggled with it.
Using a decent dex weapon and rolling at full speed makes DaS1 pretty manageable really.

It's not about getting good. I played DS1 SL4 without any magic and as rough as it can be with raw weapons. And with a SL4 character, there's not a single boss requiring more than 30 hits.
In BB, you double/triple the amounts of hit needed with a character not gimped at all. Stamina is a thing, but bosses having OS moves is just moronic in this situation. Either the boss fight should be fast but challenging or long but a bit more forgiving (being able to adjust your way of playing the first time after being hit by a move you had never seen). Making them beefy and deadly makes the game no longer faire but it becomes a die and retry, something it wasn't in DS1 or isn't in DS3 outside of several heavily telegraphed OS moves.
I mean, the Champ's moveset is godlike and absolutely fair. If you compare him to Ebrietas the slowpoke which OS you with its buggy charge, I don't think you can say BB is more rewarding.
