Well, it seems you can't but the chances of getting it increases if you talk to Joule
So don't do it
And if it happens, just hit restart or retry, it's not like it will happen every 2 deaths

Talking to Joule increases (or ensures?) that the next time you play you get anime song superpower
Hard mode effectively erases this if you want to try that
otherwise try not to die
