Stardew Valley is animal crossing with harvest moon mechanics, I find it more charming than either of those though.

Posting some weeb recommendations again from last thread. First gameplay focused stuff.
Recettear is fucking fantastic, but I'd be surprised if you don't own that yet.
Fortune Summoners is great side-scroller RPG about cute girls that gets hard as shit.
Senran Kagura is fun crowd fighter and should fill all your titty needs, but the discount isn't very heavy since it was just released.
Akiba's Trip is cool if you want comedy game about being nerd in Akihabara. Also has decent fighting system.
If you want proper JRPGs, check out Grandia II and Trails in Sky series.
Next some visual novels.
Grisaia is obvious choice. It has great characters and good story, though routes were handled by different writers so they are very unbalanced.
If you're into yuri, check out Kindred Spirits. You play a lesbian cupid for a bunch of ghosts who want to create Yuritopia.
Gahkthun is nice if you want more serious, steam-punky stuff. Also features probably the best anime titties on Steam, pic related.
Higurashi is classic, and first chapter is going for cheap as hell now. And with new art you won't be distracted by ham-hands anymore.
Danganronpa is very good. Pick up the first game if you so wish, the discount on second isn't that good yet.
If you want to get in touch with your inner lady, try out Ozmafia. You get to make a guy called Manboy into your slave.
Little Witch Romanesque is a solid raising sim. The premise is that you're magician tasked on training two girl mages in a remote tower, and over course of the game bunch of other characters join in as well. There's a decent minigame involved that breaks up visual novel segments, and spells that you teach to girls determines which scenes you can get.
Avoid these.
Agarest and most other Idea Factory games. You can easily get better.
Sakura Dungeon. It's very poor dungeon crawler, if you want similar titty game it's better to go for Demon Master Chris. On that note, avoid all the Sakura games.
Momodora is fantastic! Just some surprisingly satisfying items and gameplay/combat.
I was sold when I came to second boss who is a witch with juicy big breasts that you wail on to attack her.
You attack her breasts and they jiggle. Genius. Pirated initially, going back to buy it on steam now.
Is the latest Shantae good as well? Enjoyed risky's revenge.

If you like arena shooters and puzzle games, get DeadCore. Total gem, I bought it out of the blue and it's fucking incredible, it reminds me of those trick maps people used to play back in ut2k4. You can basically solve lots of the puzzles by going really fucking fast and accurately and bunny hopping like a mad cunt, it's really fun. If you're not a good twitch shooter it's probably not very fun though.

Just a few minutes each day reading through cards and attempting the japanese from the english meaning or the english meaning from japanese words before swiping through will help a lot.
I use one called Anki which you can use on smart phone and PC and actually sync your status between.
For example if you get one word wrong constantly, it will save that word and bring it up more often regardless of whether you're using it on your phone or computer.
It also lets you set a schedule for new vocabulary each week and will revise old stuff too so your don't forget.
You don't need gimmicks like games, this shit works.

Grisaia is unironic 10/10. But buy the Denpasoft version. Unfortunately the Steam Edition is censored not only in H-content but also in a few jokes. The tradeoff is that the uncensored version is missing a few extra CGs here and there because it's basically the older version of the game.
Recettear gets lots of praise, but I simply couldn't get hooked into it. It has lots of charm though.

I honestly thought it was going to be the next Mount & Blade for me, but the game feels like it's going nowhere. Bought it years ago, and doing yearly checkups, but it's just as unfinished as before.
The game itself recommends you just "Bait Bandits into getting killed by town guards and loot their body to get money", because there's literally nothing you could do to get money except buying low and selling high by going from (ugly) cities to other (uglier) cities.

The writing is excellent in almost every aspect (save for the occasional nipponism that looks weird). The music and art are top notch. The voice acting is BEASTLY good. The protagonist is an actual character, and probably the best one at that. The game has very witty humor everywhere.
The only thing I could truly reproach it is that there's not a whole lot of choices, and some "bad ends" are there just because they needed to have a choice somewhere that was better than the other.
Ah, god damn I could go on about the length and the depth of the game, but I'll pass for now.
